Monday, January 4. 2010DayTrip to Quilt Shop and Quivera Wildlife RefugeI've been looking for a certain fabric and I found it at the quilt shop in Alden Ks which is a little bit of a drive from here So I suggested we drive there and then on over to the wildlife refuge. First things first I got the fabric then we drove on over to the refuge We figured since it was so cold that there might not be any animals out....WRONG! We saw snowgeese, at least 20 eagles, waaaaay over 50 deer, and about a dozen turkeys. We drove by this old farm that had "junk" so thick you couldn't see the house. There were old cars and who knows what else in there but the picture I took was of old bikes and that was just one small part of it WAS A GREAT DAY!  click on photo to see more pictures...OH and the fabric Trackbacks
