We took a day trip today....and combined my luv of Crafts, Travel and Photography.
First we drove to Anthony Ks (about 55 miles SW of us) to deliver some of my Giftshop items. The name of the shop is "The Perfect Touch", which mostly carries Cake Decorating Supplies & Classes and Party & Wedding Supplies but Karen has decided to put some of my items in her shop this fall. If you are ever in Anthony be sure to look her up! THX Karen Then we drove on south to the Great Salt Plains in Oklahoma. Took a few pictures along the Nature Trail. Then we drove the Gyp Hills Road south of Medicine Lodge. Had a great day. (click on thumbnail to see larger picture)   Had to chase this little fellow thru the brush to get a picture of him.   Saw alot of birds even tho the water levels were low. The Black Winged Pelicans were all in the air and far out in the middle so didn't get a good picture of them.   Even tho the ponds were dry some of the water lilies were stil blooming...check out that huge leaf Thursday, August 14. 2008First Day of School 2008Ethan 2nd Grade and Blake 1st Grade Poor Ally was upset that the boys went off and left her But I think Mom has some special things planned just for her today      |
