Friday, May 29. 2009Cooking supper tonite a bit of a challenge
Just as I got ready to go to kitchen and cook supper tonite our electricity went off
Waited a bit and decided it wasn't coming back on right away I already had shrimp thawed and really had my tastebuds set I thot about going to the camper and cook but its already cleaned up and besides its been closed up it would be really hot in there....SO.... Husband got out our little one burner propane stove I heated some veggies and boiled the shrimp Ummm Ummmm good and what a nice quiet 3 1/2 hours wouldn't have wanted it that way for much longer tho!  
Sunday, May 17. 2009NEWEST GOONY...first tripWe left for Missouri Wednesday and returned today Sunday We camped in the Forsyth area...northeast of Branson They have had alot of rain too We had to stay in the upper part of the campground because the lower part was flooded At first they said we couldn't stay past Saturday nite because it was still rising but when we left this morning they said it was about to crest and wouldnt' get much higher We had a great time running around in the Mark Twain Forest and then on Saturday Branson had their "Plum Nellie Days"...was a great craft festival A couple more things to do to the camper and we are ready to leave for "ALASKA" in a few weeks...YIPPEE Click on picture to see more trip photo's
