I should have paid attention to my Horoscope today.
It said I would have a bad day!
BUT this morning went soooo good....made 3 pillowcases
So this afternoon while pressing my quilt blocks I thot I would stitch
a crazy quilt block
It was going pretty good and was almost finished with the block
when the thread in the bobbin got caught or something and pulled the
whole project out of hoop and of course there is no way to get it back right
So I have a headless chicken LOLOL
I decided to clean up my mess and cleaned the machine and wound bobbins
MAYBE TOMORROW or NEXT YEAR EVEN ; -) ! ! !
I did get all 120 6" quilt blocks done and pressed ..... so I had to see what they
would look like put together so laid some out.
Cant' wait to start sewing on it again
Randy and Nova came over for Christmas Dinner
We had chicken noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad
and Nova made a delicious cherry mash cheesecake
After dinner we opened presents sent to us by Tara and the kids.
I got a picture frame with Grandma stuff on it
and Great Grandpa got a book "Stories Never Told" war history stuff
Nova got a beautiful Alaska Tshirt and Randy a bicycle water bottle from Alaska bike shop
Randy and Nova got me a magnetic picture frame with butterfly's and a photo album
and Mert got some new Crocs
We no sooner opened presents when Tara called and we all took turns talking to the kids
Was a very nice christmas
Last week Mert was in the backyard when these little birds showed up
He stood still for quite awhile watching them then one hopped up on his toe
like the bird didn't even notice he was there
Then today a whole flock of them came back
They were picking something out of the green grass and they were so quick
I could hardly get a picture
They also lit on the tree sideways like a nuthatch does
They left as fast as they came
