A couple of nites ago we had a vistor at our backdoor....
it was just starting to get dark
Couldnt' get a good picture
Then tonite right after supper about 5:30PM
I heard the birds outside having a hissy fit so when I
looked out our visitor was back.
A little concerned that he/she was out this early and hoping he/she is ok.
Probably just hungry
I'm on my second week of this crud and hubby in his first week
I lost my voice last week and he is just losing his
I had a deep hoarse husky voice and his is high and squeeky (lol)
and I think the cough syrup stuff is giving me the giggles
and One of Us is getting hard of hearing so this has been a fun 2 weeks
and More Fun Ahead
Well my Mothers Days wasn't as planned but it was still great
Two weeks ago I invited everyone for chicken noodles supper
well in the meantime I have somehow managed
to get a full blown yukky head cold
Have had it since Tuesday....
so really I'm on the downhill side of it but still not up to par
So I cancelled supper but everyone came over this morning for a few minutes...
The worst part of it was that I didn't think
I should be giving any hugs or kisses so that was hard
But I still had a Great Mothers Day with them albeit short
I got Flowers... my favorite nail polish
a Gift Card for my Favorite Quilt Shop (I feel a quilt coming on)
and a Gorgeous Purple Grandma Plaque to hang on my wall
THX.. I have the bestest kids in the WORLD!
At about 7:00AM this morning we heard some commotion in the tree
and noticed that one of the babies had flown out of nest and onto the ground
Ethel got all excited then the baby hopped on over and into the heavy foliage
There are still 2 in the nest....one still looks awfully small
The biggest one was the first to leave
Blake and I went to McD's and had chicken nuggets for lunch then went to Walmart
and he picked out 2 fabrics to make an apron
We got so busy and was having so much fun I forgot to take pics
but here is the final product
Blake actually did alot of the pinning and sewing himself
The apron is reversible and both sides have a center divided pocket
He did a GREAT JOB!
Then we watched "MegaMind" movie and even managed to get him home in time for supper
I had a fun day!
