March Happenings

I made a birthday card for my Great Grandson Blake who turned 10 last week
ALSO today it seems my flowering crabapple tree blooms just popped out over nite

Kids came and spent the day

Kids came over today and it was nice enough that we played outside a little while
then came in and Ethan stitched a notecard and Ally organized my thread and
Blake printed a picture and then stitched around it
Then we played bean bag toss

Past week with the kids

Last Wednesday Blake had a fever so he couldn't go to school
so he stayed with us
Then Thursday the kids were out of school
and also out today for Presidents Day
On Wednesday Blake and I had to do surgery on Ally's Dog
On Thursday it was a pretty nice day so we walked to the park and played a bit
TODAY we made Birthday Cards for Moms birthday this weekend
We had quite a storm come thru this afternoon too
Lots of thunder some lightning and wind and HAIL

Day Trip to Kaw Reservoir

Took off this morning and drove to Ark City
and along the Arkansas River to Kaw Oklahoma
Was warm with a little wind but really a great day considering its january30.
The road closed sign was on the other side of the bridge NONE on our side

Day with the Kids

Holiday today so we got to take care of the kids OH WHAT FUN WE HAD
First we made each one a bandana then we baked cookies
After lunch we went on a hike on the river
We picked up rocks and sticks and shells
saw birds and bird tracks and eagles
came home and made potato soup for supper
GREAT DAY!

OH I almost forgot the skull we found

Another beautiful day

Had another spring like day today so we drove to Kingman
Drove out to Kingman Lake and Wildlife area
